Elmia Subcontrator Fair 2017

Between the 13th-17th of November Primex Plastics Limited attended the Elmia Subcontrator Fair in Jonkoping, Sweden. The fair, with over 14,000 visitors and 1100 stands, the Elmia Subcontrator Fair, set across 17,860 square metres, was a great opportunity for Primex to network with other businesses within the Plastic industry, and wider Manufacturing world.

With 30% of visitors being international exhibitors the week gave us the opportunity not only to develop new and existing links within Sweden, but Europe as a whole. The week proved highly successful and we made contacts within the industry which opens new doors for us and the products we can produce. Here at Primex we’re always searching for new ways to develop as a company and some of the techniques and ideas we fostered during the week we hope will prove successful in the near future.

One of our products which was particularly well received by customers during the trip was Tuff-X, with a large majority of customers unaware of its properties and potential applications which the material opens up. Prime Super Tuff-X is an engineered thermoplastic alloy that offers very high stiffness when rigidity is important. Prime Super Tuff-X has a very low C.L.T.E., excellent cold temperature impact, UV protection, improved rigidity and has high chemical resistance. And is also available with High Gloss finish.
