And the winner is...

The regions "rising stars" were celebrated at the Insider North East Young Professionals Awards 2024 and Primex were there to cheer on two of their employees. The event was held at the Hilton Hotel Newcastle Gateshead which showcased professionals aged 35 or under in a variety of industry specialisms. We took to the event with a table of 12 and the team had a wonderful night, with Matt Richardson being a hilarious compere. Primex nominated two employees up for the awards, to recognise their hard work and achievements.

Firstly, Lewis Scarr was up for "Young Accountant of the Year", who although sadly did not win, was pleased he positioned high up the shortlist, coming in second place! Lewis had to demonstrate his growth within the business over the last few years, and has significantly grown his role in the business over the past 12 months which pushed Primex to nominate him for the award. We are happy to announce the winner of Young Business Development Professional of the Year went to our very own Tom Birkett. Tom has grown a close relationship with his customers over the years, boasting a 100% client retention whilst adding several new accounts over the 12 month period which the award covered. Part of the Award bid criteria saw several of his customers provide sincere appraisals which were appreciated by the Award judges.
