Biking success

Liam Clement, Primex sponsored athlete and son of Primex Manufacturing Manager Gary, has just completed his first full Mountain Bike Enduro Competition season. At just age 16-17 (throughout the season) Liam has competed to great success despite the older competition.

Over the course of the season Liam has competed in 14 Enduro events and 1 Downhill race at venues throughout the country on his Bird Cycleworks supplied Bird Aeris AM9 full suspension Enduro bike.

Liam has achieved the following results:-

· Tweedlove Triple Crown series U18 Men 1st Place

· British National Enduro Series U18 Men 2nd Place

· PMBA Enduro Series U18 Men 4th Place

· Naughty Northumbrian U18 Men 1st Place

· Ard Rock 15-17 Sprint 3rd Place

· EWS100 U21 Men 3rd Place

· Welsh Enduro Round 1 U18 Men 2nd Place

Highlight of the year for Liam was competing in the support class of the British round of the Enduro World Series as the youngest competitor in class gaining 3rd place U21 Men and 10th overall out of 320 competitors, with the second fastest overall time on stage 2.

Liam is now based in Innerleithan, Scotland at Borders College, studying on the BASE MTD Course., which will be sure to enhance his already impressive skills further.

In the next year, he will compete in another round of competitions, and will focus on BNES Rounds, EWS Qualifiers, Tweedlve triple crown, Scottish Enduro series, Ard Rock, Ard Moors; and hopefully if Global ranking points are high enough, the first 3 full Enduro World SeriesEWS U21 Rounds (Scotland, Slovakia, Italy). We look forward to seeing the Primex name being worn proudly across these events; and wish him the best of luck for the upcoming season, but for now, we're sure he is just aiming to get some rest!
